Barcelona fans highlight summer transfer mistake after Sevilla drubbing

Supporters of La Liga giants Barcelona have on Sunday evening made collectively known their disappointment with one of the club’s summer transfer decisions.

The call in question? That to allow Iñigo Martínez to depart.

Barcelona are of course fresh off an outing to forget earlier this evening.

After making the trip to Andalusia to face Sevilla still smarting from a midweek defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, Hansi Flick’s troops found themselves condemned to a 2nd successive loss.

Not only that, but the Blaugrana were frankly embarrassed, en route to a 4-1 drubbing.

Not for the first time this season, Barca saw their defensive deficiencies taken full advantage of, with Hansi Flick having felt it necessary to hook two of his back four at half-time.

And as alluded to above, as much has since given rise to a fresh round of questions surrounding one major decision over the summer.

After their side’s lack of leadership at the back was exposed once more, droves of Barcelona fans have highlighted Iñigo Martínez’s free agent exit as a clear mistake.
