Supporters of La Liga giants Barcelona have on Tuesday moved to lavish praise on young defender Jofre Torrents.
This comes after the 18-year-old was afforded a chance to showcase his talents in the club’s latest outing.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front, having kickstarted their Copa del Rey campaign in a meeting with Guadalajara.
Youngster Jofre was for his part afforded a rare start for the fixture, taking his place on the left of Hansi Flick’s backline.
And though Barca as a collective have struggled thus far, the Spanish starlet has impressed.
Looking remarkably poised despite his inexperience at senior level, Jofre has stood out as one of the Blaugrana’s best performers.
His endeavours on the ball have been particularly head-turning, with the defender’s much-discussed dribbling attributes on full display.
And such efforts have not gone at all overlooked on the part of the Barcelona faithful, who have been quick to heap praise on a potential star in the making:
