Supporters of La Liga giants Barcelona have on Saturday continued to make known their frustrations with the club’s transfer team.
As much comes after a played heavily linked with a summer move to Catalunya’s capital, in Etta Eyong, added to his goalscoring tally for the campaign.
Youngster Eyong saw his name emerge as a prominent one in the headlines surrounding Barcelona late in the transfer window.
As much came after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the Blaugrana were considering a cut-price move for the then-Villarreal talent.
In the end, Deco and co. opted against sanctioning a swoop for his signature, with Eyong having in turn gone on to join Levante.
And on Saturday, the 21-year-old showcased once more why Barca may have made a mistake on allowing him to slip through their grasp…
En route to Levante’s remarkable 4-0 triumph at Girona, Eyong notched both a goal and an assist.
As much took his tally to six direct goal contributions in five appearances this season.
And safe to say, those of a Blaugrana persuasion have not responded too well to these developments, frustrated with what they evidently consider to be shortcomings on the part of the Camp Nou brass.
