Barcelona fans continue to hail Blaugrana star ‘the best in the world’

Supporters of La Liga champions Barcelona have on Saturday continued to push the case of Joan García as the best in his position in world football.

This comes by way of his performance in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.

Hansi Flick’s troops are of course currently locked in action, late in a derby showdown with Catalan rivals Espanyol.

As things stand, the two sides remain deadlocked at 0-0.

And the aforementioned Joan is, on the Barca side of things, the central reason as to why.

The 24-year-old, who of course departed Espanyol for the more high-profile side of the Catalan divide over the summer, has been in nothing short of sensational form this evening.

Joan has conjured up a string of world-class stops across the 90 minutes, one of which was a genuine contender for Save of the Season.

And such brilliance has not gone unappreciated on the part of the Barca fanbase, who have again moved to label the 24-year-old world football’s best goalkeeper:
