La Liga champions Barcelona are giving consideration to a swoop for São Paulo talent Gustavo Zabarelli.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Friday provided an insight into the situation.
Zabarelli, for his part, is a 16-year-old attacker, who chiefly operates as a ’10’, but is also capable of taking to the pitch from a wide berth.
The youngster has long been considered one of the standout up-and-coming talents in his home country of Brazil, with Zabarelli having been praised for his technical abilities, and eye for goal.
Such traits have given rise to inevitable interest from Europe, where a whole host of clubs are understood to be keeping a close eye on the starlet’s progress.
And chief amongst them, as alluded to above, are Spanish champions Barcelona.
As per a report from Sport, the Blaugrana are considering a move to bring Zabarelli to Catalunya’s capital in the near future.
Deco and co. consider the South American a safe bet for the future, with their good relationship with São Paulo potentially opening the door to an agreement.
