Barcelona expect to welcome two key players back vs Real Sociedad

La Liga champions Barcelona are hopeful of welcoming a pair of important players back into the matchday fold this coming weekend.

That’s according to Blaugrana insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, who points towards Alejandro Balde and Lamine Yamal as the pair in question.

Both defender Balde and attacker Lamine have of course spent recent weeks on the treatment table in Catalunya’s capital.

In the case of the former, as much comes owing to a muscular issue suffered in training, whilst Lamine picked up a groin problem whilst on international duty with Spain.

Balde had for his part been spotted back in group training this week, but has been ruled out of Thursday’s La Liga meeting with Real Oviedo.

As alluded to above, though, all going according to plan, both the 21-year-old and his compatriot should be back available for selection this weekend.

As per a report from AS, Hansi Flick expects to have Balde and Lamine ready to play at least some part against Real Sociedad on Sunday.
