La Liga champions Barcelona have on Friday been dealt a fresh setback on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that midfield star Dani Olmo has picked up a fitness problem whilst on international duty.
Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad has of course been ravaged by injuries of late.
Over recent weeks alone, the likes of Joan García, Alejandro Balde, Gavi, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Fermín López have been forced onto the treatment table owing to respective issues.
And as alluded to above, late this week, yet another Blaugrana star has been added to the list of concerns in Catalunya’s capital.
Speaking during a press conference on Friday, Spanish national team head coach Luis de la Fuente revealed the following update on Dani Olmo:
“He hasn’t trained all week, he came in tired, with some discomfort. Today he wasn’t feeling comfortable and we’ve told him to stop training. He’s gone to get some tests.”
