Barcelona credited with interest in breakout World Cup talent

La Liga champions Barcelona have this weekend been tipped to launch a move for one of the breakout talents of the 2026 World Cup to date.

The youngster in question? Christ Inao Oulaï.

Inao Oulaï, for those not aware, is a 20-year-old midfielder, who plies his international trade with Cote d’Ivoire.

Despite his tender years, the starlet has been afforded starts in both of his country’s fixtures at the World Cup to date, against Ecuador and Germany.

And the level of his performances has not gone at all unnoticed back in Europe…

As per a report from Diario AS, citing sources in Türkiye (where Inao Oulaï plays at club level with Trabzonspor), the aforementioned Barcelona are one of a growing number of top clubs expressing an interest in bringing the African in this summer.

Leading outfits in England and Germany are also understood to be keeping a close eye on the situation.

Trabzonspor, though, appear more than prepared for the incoming wave of offers, having already slapped a €50 million price-tag on Inao Oulaï’s head.
