La Liga giants Barcelona have identified an out-of-favour member of the attacking ranks at Premier League outfit Chelsea as a potential summer signing.
That’s according to market insider Florian Plettenberg, who points towards Christopher Nkunku as the player in question.
It is of course common knowledge at this point that Barcelona are on the lookout for fresh blood in the final third with a view to next season.
After missing out on primary target Nico Williams, though, the Blaugrana have been forced to expand their search over the last couple of weeks.
Asthings stand, the most likely arrival in Catalunya’s capital, it is understood, is Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
As alluded to above, though, should a deal for the Englishman not prove feasible, Barca could kick into gear efforts to bring in a different Premier League star.
As per a report from journalist Florian Plettenberg, ‘another option’ for Deco and co. is out-of-favour Chelsea frontman Christopher Nkunku.
