The scouting department at Barcelona are closely tracking an up-and-coming member of the defensive ranks at La Liga rivals Real Betis.
This comes amid the understanding that Emmanuel N’Goran has made his way onto the radar of those behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
N’Goran, for his part, is a 19-year-old defender, who chiefly takes to the pitch in a central role. The Ivorian penned terms with the aforementioned Real Betis in January of 2025, and has since earned a reputation for himself as a potential future star in the making.
N’Goran is set to link up with Manuel Pellegrini’s first-team ranks in Seville for the duration of the international break, amid ongoing efforts to carve out a permanent senior berth for himself.
And as alluded to above, watching his progress all the while are Deco and the Barcelona brass. As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Just yesterday, FC Barcelona scouts were in Badajoz watching him play. The Catalan club tried to sign him for their reserve team in August, but the player has remained at Betis.’
