Barcelona sporting director Deco on Tuesday held a fresh meeting with the representatives of Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
This came with a view to finding an agreement on the terms of a January transfer.
The name of frontman Rashford has of course proven a prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital for several weeks now.
As much comes amid the understanding that the England international has been identified as a leading mid-season transfer target by Barcelona.
Available on loan this month, Rashford is seen as a viable option to reinforce the left flank in Hansi Flick’s squad.
And, as alluded to above, on Tuesday, Blaugrana director Deco took another step towards pushing a deal for the 27-year-old over the line.
As confirmed by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Marcus Rashford’s camp had a meeting with Barça director Deco today. Barcelona are keen on signing Rashford and he’s open to the move, but it depends on exits.’
