Barcelona boss Hansi Flick reveals if he will watch the Madrid Derby

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that, time permitting, he intends to watch the upcoming showdown between Atlético and Real Madrid.

The season’s first Madrid Derby is of course set to play out in short order.

The fixture will see Diego Simeone’s inconsistent Atlético play host to a Real Madrid side who have racked up seven wins from seven under the watch of new boss Xabi Alonso this season.

Such endeavours have seen Los Blancos open an early lead over reigning champions Barcelona atop the La Liga table.

Speaking during his latest pre-match press conference on Saturday afternoon, the possibility of watching today’s Metropolitano clash was therefore put to Blaugrana boss Hansi Flick.

And the German tactician went on to explain:

“The match is at 4:15, right? I think we’ll watch the match. I watch a lot of matches. They’re two great teams, and I’m looking forward to it.”
