Barcelona & Bayern Munich eyeing the same 3 players on the transfer market

The respective boards at two of European football’s biggest clubs have drawn up the same attacking transfer shortlists for the summer window.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Sky, who point towards Barcelona and Bayern Munich as the sides in question.

The first name to have emerged as a leading one in the boardrooms at both the Camp Nou and Allianz Arena over recent weeks is that of Nico Williams.

As things stand, it is the former who are considered as being ahead in the race for the 22-year-old, but a recent hiccup in negotiations means that Bayern cannot be ruled out yet.

Aware of the fact that they are lagging behind in the Nico sweepstakes, though, the German champions have also put together a list of alternative targets.

Specifically, Bayern are considering moves for two other players comfortable on the left flank.

And they just so happen to be Barcelona’s no.2 and 3 attacking targets with a view to next season, in Luis Díaz of Liverpool, and Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.
