No agreement between Barcelona and Ronald Koeman on payoff amount

Ronald Koeman was sacked as Barcelona coach last week and there is still no agreement over his payoff, according to Sport.

More meetings will be needed between the Dutchman’s camp and the La Liga club. According to the journalist Gerard Romero, Koeman’s figure is a long way off Barcelona’s as they continue to work on liquidating his Camp Nou contract.

Barça have offered the Dutchman €7.5 million over two payments. That offer has, however, been rejected by Koeman. Gerard Romero reports that he wants substantially more – €12 million in compensation – plus the bonuses due from last season.
