La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have confirmed some positive news on the personnel front, in the buildup to their upcoming meeting with Real Betis.
This comes amid confirmation that Johnny Cardoso has at last returned to matchday duties.
Midfielder Cardoso for his part made the move to Spain’s capital over the summer, to add some much-needed stell to Diego Simeone’s ranks in the middle of the park.
His time in Atlético colours, however, has since proven to be an altogether difficult one.
The United States international, after just three appearances for the Rojiblancos, was last month struck down by an ankle injury.
Owing to as much, Cardoso has been forced to sit out each of his club’s last nine fixtures across all competitions.
