As much comes with the midfielder having taken to the pitch for the capital outfit on 699 occasions across his career to date.
Koke is of course widely considered a legend at Atlético Madrid, one of the club’s most loyal and committed players ever.
The Spanish international is already the club’s most capped player of all time, and as alluded to above, will this weekend likely continue to set records.
As confirmed by Mundo Deportivo, should he feature in any capacity against Getafe on Sunday, Koke will hit the 700-appearance mark for his lifelong club.
This will also guide the 33-year-old another step closer to the record holder for most outings ever for one Spanish club.
Barcelona icon Lionel Messi currently possesses the crown for as much, having lined out for the Blaugrana on a hefty 778 occasions in all competitions.
