La Liga heavyweights Atlético Madrid have this week opened talks over a potential summer deal for yet another player.
That’s according to transfer insider Loïc Tanzi, who points towards Enzo Millot as the latest player in the sights of the Rojiblancos.
The subject of transfers has of course continued to dominate the headlines at the Metropolitano across the week to date.
This comes after the altogether productive summer window being enjoyed by the Atlético brass ramped up yet further, by way of deals for both Marc Pubill, and Dávid Hancko.
These add to the previous signings of all of Juan Musso, Thiago Almada, Matteo Ruggeri, Johnny Cardoso and Álex Baena.
And yet, if the latest word stemming from the media on Thursday is anything to go by, then the capital outfit appear from from done there.
As per a report from the aforementioned Loïc Tanzi, Atléti are now considered to be the favourites to land Stuttgart midfielder Enzo Millot:
‘Several clubs have positioned themselves with the desire to activate the release clause, estimated at €20 million, present in his contract, but the most attractive avenue currently appears to be in Spain. Atlético Madrid has already begun discussions to convince the former AS Monaco player.’
France international Millot is fresh off a stellar season on the books of Stuttgart, which saw the 23-year-old rack up 20 goal contributions in 43 appearances across all competitions.
