La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have been afforded the chance to bring a member of the attacking ranks at Juventus to the club this summer.
This comes amid the understanding that Dušan Vlahović’s name has been put to those in a position of power at the Metropolitano.
Frontman Vlahović, as things stand, is due to bring a close to his stint on the books of Juventus upon the season’s close.
The Serbian, who recently returned from a long-term spell on the sidelines, is yet to agree on the terms of an extension to his expiring contract terms in Turin.
Clubs from across the continent and beyond, as a result, are free to open negotiations with Vlahović and his entourage over a free agent joining of forces in the summer.
And as alluded to above, this week, one such outfit have been contacted over their interest in such a deal.
As per a report from market insider Nicolo Schira:
‘Dušan Vlahović has been offered to Atlético Madrid as a free agent by an intermediary in the last days.’
It is as of yet unclear whether or not the Rojiblancos are interested in bringing the 26-year-old to Spain’s capital.
