La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have positioned themselves in the running for the signature of in-demand Everton star Iliman Ndiaye.
This comes amid what has been a thoroughly impressive campaign on the part of the 25-year-old to date.
Ndiaye has proven himself one of the standout performers in English football, notching four goals and an assist from his berth on the right wing.
These numbers, though, don’t do the Senegalese’s impact real justice, with Ndiaye having long been terrorising opposing backlines with a stellar combination of quick feet, pace, clever movement and final ball.
With such exploits comes inevitable outside interest, with some of Europe’s leading clubs understood to be keeping a close eye on his situation at Goodison Park.
And as alluded to above, one such outfit come in the form of Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing English outlet TEAMtalk:
‘Atlético Madrid are one of the teams closely monitoring the progress of Iliman Ndiaye.’
Also mentioned as potential landing spots for a player whom Everton have no intention of parting with are the likes of AC Milan, Juventus, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and even Liverpool.
