The brass at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid are considering a mid-season swoop for a member of the attacking ranks at Olympique Marseille.
That’s according to Fichajes, who point towards Mason Greenwood as the player in question.
Frontman Greenwood is for his part in the midst of what has been a productive opening to the new campaign.
After impressing in 2024/25 to the tune of 21 goals across all competitions, the Englishman has followed up with a further three goals and four assists in nine appearances this time round.
And such impressive production, it would appear, has not gone unnoticed in Spain…
Atlético Madrid, it is understood, are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements during the January transfer window.
And after previously expressing an interest in Greenwood during his time in La Liga with Getafe, Diego Simeone and co. are now giving serious consideration to renewing as much over the coming months.
