Atlético Madrid await Ángel Correa developments after sealing deal for Moise Kean

An update on the efforts of the transfer team at Atlético Madrid to reinforce the club’s frontline has been forthcoming late this evening.

The info comes courtesy of transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has revealed that Atlético have put a deal in place for a new striker for the 2nd half of the term.

The player in question? Juventus’ Moise Kean.

As confirmed in Romano’s report on Thursday, ‘Atléti have agreed on [a] loan deal with Juve for Moise Kean’. The deal in question would see the Italian international link up with Diego Simeone’s squad through the summer, for a ‘small loan fee’.

And yet, Kean’s arrival at the Wanda Metropolitano, as things stand, remains up in the air.

This comes with the transfer hinging entirely on the proposed departure of Ángel Correa.

It is of course common knowledge that frontman Correa is currently in discussions with Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ittihad, over a big-money move to the Middle East.

As of yet, however, the Jeddah-based club have not reached an agreement on a transfer fee with their counterparts in Spain’s capital.

Until as much is finalised, all of Atlético, Juventus, and Kean, will therefore be forced to wait.
