La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have late this week tied up a deal for a fres addition to the club’s attacking ranks.
The player primed to link up with Diego Simeone’s side for the season ahead? Giacomo Raspadori.
The name of Italian international Raspadori has of course emerged as an altogether prominent one in the media headlines across Europe over recent days.
This comes after word was forthcoming that, amid an ongoing search for reinforcements in the final third, the aforementioned Atlético Madrid had earmarked the 25-year-old as the ideal profile.
Transfer talks, in turn, were kicked into gear with Serie A champions Napoli.
And as alluded to above, late this week, these negotiations appear to have borne fruit for the Metropolitano brass.
As per a report from market expert Fabrizio Romano:
‘Jack Raspadori has already left Napoli’s camp to fly to Madrid in the next hours. Atlético Madrid and Napoli are exchanging all formal documents for €26m package deal to be announced.’
