La Liga outfit Athletic Club have on Saturday been dealt a fresh blow on the personnel front.
This comes after Robert Navarro was forced into a premature departure from the Basque outfit’s La Liga meeting with Levante.
Ernesto Valverde’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to Valencia to lock horns with newly-promoted Levante.
Attacker Navarro was for his part in from the off for the clash, and went on to open the scoring inside the opening three minutes.
As alluded to above, however, the Spaniard’s evening soon took a turn for the worse.
After pulling up with an ankle problem during the 2nd-half, Navarro was quickly hauled off, replaced by teammate Unai Gómez.
It now remains to be seen if the 23-year-old is facing up to any sort of extended spell on the sidelines.
Athletic have endured a whole host of injury problems already this season, with the likes of Iñaki Williams, Beñat Prados and Maroan Sannadi having been forced to sit out against Levante.
