Aston Villa are on the verge of signing Ludwig Augustinsson on loan from Sevilla.
The Swedish left-back (28) has agreed to join the Premier League outfit with a view to making the move permanent, according to The Athletic.
Villa are understood to be paying a £500,000 loan fee. Augustinsson is now expected to join up with the rest of the Villa squad in Australia having already passed his medical.
The full-back made 27 appearances for Sevilla last season, providing one assist for the Spanish outfit.
