Aston Villa and Wolves among clubs interested in Mallorca’s Kang-In Lee

After a January move failed to materialise, Kang-In Lee will leave Mallorca this summer, according to journalist Matteo Moretto of Spanish outlet Relevo.

In the winter transfer window, the La Liga club refused to let the player leave. Mallorca don’t want to let their player leave mid-season, a request from manager Javier Aguirre, who doesn’t want a repeat of his experience at Leganés, where key players left mid-season.

But the parties involved have now agreed that there will be a transfer in the summer. The most likely destination for Kang-In Lee is the Premier League. Aston Villa, Newcastle, Wolves and Burnley are all said to be interested in signing the South Korean international.

His agent, Javier Garrido, had a recent trip to England and it now appears that he will leave Spain in the coming months. In January, Atlético Madrid showed interest but talks have not advanced for the 22-year-old.
