Arsenal agree deal with Real Madrid for Martin Ødegaard

Arsenal have agreed a deal with Real Madrid for midfielder Martin Ødegaard, according to Sky Sports.

Ødegaard will join for an initial €35 million fee plus bonuses and is in London on Wednesday undergoing a medical.

Personal terms are not expected to be a problem. Ødegaard, who spent the second half of last season on loan to the Gunners, is fully vaccinated, so will not have to quarantine. If he is registered by midday on Friday, he will be available to face Chelsea this weekend.

The Norway international made 20 appearances for Arsenal last season.
