Arda Güler set to remain at Real Madrid despite loan links

Real Madrid Arda Güler is determined to fight for his place in Real Madrid’s squad next season, despite recent reports suggesting he would be leaving the club on loan.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 19-year-old wanted to asses his situation with Real in the summer, but is in no rush to leave the club. The versatile attacker is patient and knows he must wait for his opportunity to impress in the first-team.

Meanwhile, the Madrid staff are extremely happy with his performances in training and his overall development. Güler has spent the majority of the season sidelined or on the bench, which led to reports emerging that the player was unhappy with his limited minutes this season.

Los Blancos officials believe it is important for Güler to stay at the club and continue his development at the La Liga giants. The Turk has played on a more regular basis in recent weeks and has added to his goalscoring tally for the season.

Güler started against Granada and came off the bench against Alaves on Tuesday night, scoring his fourth goal in just 11 appearances. His performances throughout the season have convinced manager Carlo Ancelotti to include him in his plans next season, despite the imminent arrivals of Endrick and Kylian Mbappé.
