Speaking during an eSports contest, French striker Antoine Griezmann admitted he wants to wear the number seven shirt at FC Barcelona. Griezmann donned the red and white for Atletico Madrid, wearing the number seven during his successful spell in the Spanish capital. Philippe Coutinho, currently on loan at Bayern Munich, is the holder of the number seven at Camp Nou but Griezmann would like to wear that number again, instead of 17.
“I would like to get the number seven shirt back. Quarantine is going okay, but you can’t do anything. I miss football enormously. I have no idea when the competition will be back; I don’t know when I will go back to training.”
