Anthony Martial set to fly to Spain to join Sevilla from Manchester United

Anthony Martial was Sevilla’s first choice to strengthen their attack and the deal, according to AS, is now done.

Although the Frenchman has been approached by clubs including Juventus, he has kept his word to sporting director Monchi, who was in daily contact with the forward. United have accepted the loan deal due to the player’s desire to leave and the fact that the Spanish club will pay his wages until June. In the next few hours, the player is expected to fly to Sevilla.

Martial has agreed to reduce his salary in order to make the deal cheaper and allow Sevilla to pay what United are asking for. The agreement with the player was in place, and there will be no option to buy at the end of the season. He will join a Sevilla side currently in a title race with league leaders Real Madrid.
