Speaking to Movistar after Barcelona’s 5-1 win over Ferencváros on Tuesday night, Ansu Fati admitted he is relishing the chance to learn from captain Lionel Messi.
“Messi is still Messi, he can score in any action. We are very happy to have him here with us and I continue to learn from him.”
Barça are the first team ever to have two goalscorers aged 17 or under in a single Champions League match thanks to Fati and Pedri.
“It’s good for the team, it means we’re good,” Fati said when asked about Barça’s attackers scoring goals. The more competition there is between us, the better. We all come out better.”
