On the day after he signed a new deal with Barcelona until 2027, Ansu Fati spoke to Barça TV about some of the offers he had before committing his long-term future to the club.

“Yes, I’ve had offers from abroad, but my dream was to be here. From the first day, I told Jorge Mendes that my first option was always to stay at Barça. He understood that perfectly and I’m very happy that the club has trusted me.”
Barcelona president Joan Laporta praised Fati at his contract renewal presentation on Thursday.
“At Barcelona, we will help you achieve your objectives,” Laporta said to the 18-year-old forward.
“He has an extraordinary maturity and he is chosen to achieve glory,” he added.
