Rayo Vallecano boss Andoni Iraola spoke ahead of his side’s home game against Cádiz on Sunday.
The young head coach discussed new signing Radamel Falcao. The Colombian striker has scored two goals in two games since joining as a free agent but has yet to start a match for Rayo.
Has Falcao’s arrival been an extra boost in terms of morale?
“He’s someone that the players respect a lot. It gives you a boost. He’s someone they’ve seen on the biggest stage and that also generates excitement within the team.”
Is it time for Falcao to start?
“I haven’t decided on the team yet. We have to analyse various things about our opponents, look at our own team too and from there we’ll make the decisions.”
