RB Leipzig player Alexander Sørloth will replace Willian José at Real Sociedad, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Willian José will move to Real Betis on a loan deal with an option to buy for €8m, although it has yet to be made official. The San Sebastian club have been scouting the market all summer to be ready in the final stretch of this summer window to take advantage of any opportunities that may arise. They have been keeping a close eye on the situation of Pablo Sarabia and his future at PSG, as well as the possible departure of Luuk de Jong from Sevilla.
Norwegian international striker Alexander Sørloth, 25, looks set to join La Real in the coming days and will provide competition for Alexander Isak in attack. Negotiations between the two clubs are open and going well.
Sørloth played 29 games for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga last season, scoring five goals, but has yet to play in the two games this season.
