Manchester United left-back Alex Telles is set to travel to Sevilla to complete his move to the La Liga club, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
The defender will undergo his medical on Thursday, however, the loan deal for the 29-year-old won’t include an option to buy.
Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui wanted a left-back after the departure of Ludwig Augustinsson to Aston Villa. Telles will act as cover for first-choice left-back Marcos Acuña at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
The former Porto defender has a contract at Old Trafford until 30 June 2024. Telles made 21 Premier League appearances last season, four in the Champions League and one in the EFL Cup, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
Since his arrival at United in 2020, he has played 50 games, scoring one goal and providing eight assists.
Telles featured in United’s 1-1 draw at home to La Liga outfit Rayo Vallecano on Sunday in what was his last game for the club until 2023.
