A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is attracting transfer interest by way of Italy’s top-flight.
That’s according to Diario Sport, citing journalist Luca Cohen, who points towards Robert Lewandowski as the player in question.
Frontman Lewandowski is of course widely expected to bring a close to his time on the books of Barcelona next summer.
This comes with the Polish international due to see his contract terms expire, ahead of turning 38 in August.
To date, Lewandowski has been most heavily linked with a move to the Middle East, amid alleged interest in his services on the part of a number of Saudi clubs.
As alluded to above, though, if one of Europe’s most recognisable clubs have their way, then the veteran goalscorer will not be bringing an end to his legendary time on the continent just yet.
As per a report from Sport:
‘AC Milan’s sporting director, Igle Tare, has met in recent days with the striker’s agent, Pini Zahavi, to discuss various market matters and asked directly about Lewandowski and his intentions for the future, according to journalist Luca Cohen.’
Milan, it is understood, are keen to bring the former Bayern Munich man to Serie A for the 2026/27 campaign.
