A debut in attack: Barcelona’s predicted XI to face Valencia

An insight into the XI expected to be fielded by Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick for the club’s next outing has been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and highlights a number of likely changes.

Barcelona are of course primed to return to action later this evening.

With sights on a return to winning ways following the conclusion of the international break, the Blaugrana will welcome Valencia to Catalunya’s capital, for a La Liga clash.

The reigning Spanish champions head into the matchup unable to call upon a number of key players, with all of Alejandro Balde, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong and Lamine Yamal absent through injury.

In turn, heavy rotation is expected in Barca’s line-up.

And as alluded to above, an insight into the kind of XI which this rotation could give rise to has now been forthcoming.

As per a report from MD, Flick could set his side up as follows against Valencia:

Joan Garcia; Koundé, Cubarsí, Eric, Gerard Martín; Casado, Pedri; Roony, Olmo, Raphinha; Lewandowski
