A Barcelona teammate informed Fermín López of extent of his latest injury

An interesting story surrounding the latest injury suffered by Barcelona starlet Fermín López has this weekend come to the fore online.

Youngster Fermín, of course, finds himself sidelined once more at present.

As much comes after the 21-year-old, earlier this week, suffered a setback in his efforts to return to the pitch following a prior injury concern.

The Spanish international is expected to spend the next three weeks on the treatment table, with a thigh problem.

Upon picking up the injury during training, Fermín’s distress was immediately evident, with the midfielder having been loaded onto a stretcher whilst in tears, before being tended to by Barcelona’s medical team.

As per a report from Relevo, from here, Fermín was accompanied behind the scenes by a number of Blaugrana teammates, as well as manager Hansi Flick.

And, whilst those present awaited the results of the Spaniard’s MRI with bated breath, one such teammate took it upon himself to secure an early update.

Sneaking into the room where Fermín’s scans were being looked over, Gavi caught a glimpse of the extent of the problem, before quickly returning to reassure his friend and teammate that his injury was not serious.
