Sevilla are facing up to a potential personnel crisis in the club’s opening fixture of the 2025/26 La Liga campaign.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.
The Sevilla brass are currently hard at work, in an effort to sanction a major sale before this coming weekend.
The two leading candidates to depart at present are Loïc Badé – wanted by Bayer Leverkusen, and Juanlu Sánchez – in the sights of Napoli.
Whilst both defenders remain on the books in Seville, though, the Nervionenses find themselves unable to register a whole host of players with La Liga.
As per a report from MD, ahead of their opening fixture of the new season against Athletic Club on Sunday, all of the following players are unavailable for selection to boss Matías Almeyda:
Alfon González, Gabriel Suazo, Odysseas Vlachodimos, Rubén Vargas, Akor Adams, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Álvaro Fernández.
