One member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona produced a remarkable statistical performance, en route to the club’s defeat at the hands of Real Sociedad.
The player in question? Lamine Yamal.
Wide-man Lamine was for his part in from the off once more on Sunday night, as Barcelona made the trip to Anoeta.
When all was said and done on a disappointing evening for all associated with the Blaugrana, Hansi Flick’s troops found themselves condemned to the wrong side of a 2-1 result.
As alluded to above, though, on the way to as much, Barca’s prodigious young winger stood tall.
Lamine was responsible for the assist which created the visitors’ only goal of the evening, nodded home by Marcus Rashford.
This contribution aside, though, the 18-year-old’s stats across the 90 were nothing short of amazing.
As per Sofascore, Lamine conjured up the following against Real Sociedad:
- 7 key passes
- 3 big chances created
- 11 dribbles completed
- 15 ground duels won
- 100% tackles won
