No fewer than six members of the youth setup at La Liga giants Barcelona were afforded a chance to impress with the club’s first-team on Tuesday.
This, of course, comes amid a reduction in the options at the disposal of Blaugrana boss Hansi Flick at present.
With just four rounds of fixtures in Spain’s top-flight on the board, the first international break of the term is now in full swing.
At Barcelona, this has meant the departures of a whole host of players, from Pedri, Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal with Spain to Marc-André ter Stegen with Germany and Robert Lewandowski with Poland.
The aforementioned Flick has, as a result, been forced to make do with something of a ‘skeleton squad’ for the last couple of days.
And as much, as alluded to above, has opened the door for some of the club’s latest up-and-coming talents to showcase their abilities.
As per a report from Guillem Borràs Pérez of Jijantes, the following six Barca Atlètic stars were spotted playing their part in first-team training on Tuesday:
Quim Junyent, Xavi Espart, Pedro Soma, Jan Virgili, Juan Hernández and Landry Farré.
