La Liga leaders Real Madrid expect to welcome four important players back into the fold for this weekend’s showdown with arch rivals Barcelona.
That’s according to Blancos insider Sergio Quirante of DAZN, who has on Thursday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes at Valdebebas.
The headline fixture of the Spanish footbal calendar is of course set to play out in the country’s capital on Sunday.
As much will see table-topping Real Madrid act as hosts, in a La Liga meeting with 2nd-placed Barcelona.
The former head into the matchup with sights on revenge, after falling to defeat in all four of their meetings with Barca last season.
And as alluded to above, in efforts towards as much, Xabi Alonso and his staff look set to see their personnel options greatly boosted over the days ahead.
As per a report from Sergio Quirante:
‘Xabi Alonso will recover Carvajal, Trent, Huijsen, and Ceballos for El Clásico. The club tells us that they have good feelings although then Xabi will decide what role to give each one during the match.’
