Four high-profile members of Real Madrid’s squad were involved in a heated exchange, on the back of their side’s meeting with Valencia on Saturday night.
That’s according to Cadena Ser, who have provided the latest on the fallout from the controversy-strewn Mestalla clash.
Perhaps the most drama-filled outing of the La Liga season to date was of course played to completion a short time ago.
The matchup in question saw Valencia play host to Real Madrid, with the spoils ultimately shared owing to a Vinícius Jr-inspired comeback.
And yet, post-match, Carlo Ancelotti’s Blancos were left utterly incensed.
This came after Jude Bellingham saw what looked set to prove the latest of winners not allowed to stand.
After Brahim Díaz whipped a delivery into the Valencia penalty area, referee Jesús Gil Manzano blew for full-time, mere milliseconds before Bellingham nodded home a fine header.
An inevitable fracas ensued, which saw Real’s players and staff alike left incensed with the actions of the man in charge.
The fallout, however, did not come to an end on the pitch.
As confirmed by the aforementioned Ser, as much carried over into the dressing room tunnel at the Mestalla, where a major brawl erupted between both sets of players.
At the heart of things was a quartet of the visitors’ stars, namely Vinícius Jr, Antonio Rüdiger, Dani Ceballos, and Aurélien Tchouaméni.
Citing information provided by the security presence in attendance in Valencia, a ‘serious fight’ kicked off behind the scenes, with verbal altercations having quickly turned physical.
Midfielder Tchouaméni, for his part, is even understood to have broken an interview board, after lashing out.
It remains to be seen whether as much gives rise to any sort of punishment on the part of the Spanish football authorities…
