4 Real Madrid stars have won more Champions League titles than Barcelona

An incredible statistic, highlighting the recent dominance of La Liga giants Real Madrid on the continent, has today come to the fore online.

As much, of course, comes fresh off Los Blancos securing for themselves yet another Champions League crown.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops made the trip to Wembley on Saturday night, to take on Borussia Dortmund in the final of the Champions League.

Real found themselves dominated across much of the 90 minutes, as Dortmund enjoyed the better of things when it came to possession and chances created alike.

When all was said and done, however, as continues to prove the case time and time again, the European specialists got the job done.

Owing to late goals on the part of Dani Carvajal and Vinícius Jr, Ancelotti and co. emerged on the right side of a 2-0 scoreline.

This, of course, gave rise to a special evening for all associated with Real Madrid.

For four players in particular, though, it will go down as one of the most historic in history.

All of Toni Kroos, Nacho, Luka Modrić and Dani Carvajal have now won the Champions League on six separate occasions.

This, incredibly, is more times than any club other than AC Milan and Real themselves have managed to go all the way on the continent’s grandest stage.

It also means that, individually, Kroos, Nacho, Modrić and Carvajal have now racked up more Champions League titles than arch rivals Barcelona have managed in their entire history.
