Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has made the call to afford a trio of the club’s up-and-coming talents respective places on the plane to Asia this coming week.
That’s according to Blaugrana insider Gerard Romero, who has on Monday provided an update on the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Barcelona are primed to jet off to Japan this coming Thursday, to ramp up preparations for the new campaign.
The tour will see Hansi Flick’s squad continue to be put through their paces at a high level in training, whilst also getting game time under their belts by way of friendly fixtures against Vissel Kobe, FC Seoul and Daegu FC.
Over the last week, some of the next crop of breakthrough young talent at La Masia, in turn, were afforded the chance to earn for themselves a spot on the flight.
And as alluded to above, a small group of these players have since managed precisely that.
As confirmed by journalist Gerard Romero of Jijantes, attacker Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández, left-back Jofre Torrents and summer signing Roony Bardghji are all guaranteed to make the trip to Asia.
