Three big-name members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona could be set to return to the club’s starting line-up next time out.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Ronald Araújo and Robert Lewandowski as two of the three, with Frenkie de Jong making up the last.
Barcelona are of course primed to return to action on Thursday evening.
In the club’s European season opener, the Blaugrana will make the trip to England, for a Champions League showdown with Newcastle United.
Hansi Flick’s troops head into the matchup brimming with confidence, fresh off a 6-0 drubbing of Valencia over the weekend.
As alluded to above, though, rotation is nevertheless expected in the visitors’ XI.
In a bid to deal with the aerial threat of towering Newcastle frontman Nick Woltemade, Ronald Araújo is likely to return at the back.
After spending the last couple of weeks building up his fitness, and fresh off a brace off the bench on Sunday, Robert Lewandowski has also been tipped to replace Ferran Torres up top.
And last up comes Frenkie de Jong, expected to step in for Marc Casadó to join Pedri at the base of Hansi Flick’s midfield.
