2nd Real Madrid star picks up injury vs Athletic Club

La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Wednesday been dealt a 2nd blow on the injury front.

This comes after Eduardo Camavinga joined Trent Alexander-Arnold in limping out of Los Blancos’ meeting with Athletic Club.

Alexander-Arnold for his part managed just over 45 minutes this evening, before going to ground in discomfort and limping from the field of play at San Mamés.

And the Englishman was soon joined in being hauled off prematurely by teammate Camavinga.

The Frenchman’s issue appeared to come in the form of a muscular one, with Camavinga having suddenly pulled up off the ball.

Both the 23-year-old and Alexander-Arnold now face an anxious wait, ahead of undergoing a round of medical checks and scans over the days ahead.

Upon the results of as much being made public, it will become clear whether either player is facing up to any kind of significant incoming spell on the treatment table.
