The personnel woes facing La Liga giants Barcelona have on Tuesday evening deepened yet further.
This comes after a 2nd member of Hansi Flick’s squad was forced into a premature departure from the club’s latest outing.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action, in a Copa del Rey semi-final with Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid.
Ten minutes into the 2nd leg matchup, the Blaugrana were dealt a blow on the personnel front, upon Jules Koundé limping out of proceedings with an injury.
And as alluded to above, during the 2nd-half, Barca’s defensive concerns have continued to mount.
After previously being introduced off the bench, Alejandro Balde suddenly pulled up with a problem of his own, before quickly being hooked by manager Hansi Flick.
It now remains to be seen if the left-back is facing up to an incoming spell on the treatment table.
An update on Balde’s wellbeing is expected post-match.
