Sevilla will be without the contributions of a pair of first-team stars for their upcoming return to action.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Alfon González and Tanguy Nianzou as the players in question.
Sevilla are for their part currently in the process of ramping up preparations for a post-international break return to the pitch this weekend.
Hopeful of building on an impressive pair of back-to-back victories over Rayo Vallecano and Barcelona, the Nervionenses will welcome RCD Mallorca to The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán for a La Liga clash.
As alluded to above, though, in efforts towards as much, Saturday’s hosts will be forced to make do without two members of Matías Almeyda’s ranks.
As per a report from MD:
‘Almeyda was unable to count on attacking midfielder Alfon González and French centre-back Tanguy Nianzou for another session on Thursday due to physical difficulties.’
Both, in turn, are considered as ruled out of this weekend’s round of La Liga fixtures.
