An update on the personnel situation at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid has come to the fore on Saturday.
This comes ahead of the Rojiblancos’ return to action tomorrow evening.
Diego Simeone’s troops are for their part in the thick of final preparations for an upcoming La Liga meeting with RCD Mallorca.
Fresh off a heartbreaking last-gasp defeat at the hands of Liverpool in midweek, Atlético will set about securing an immediate return to winning ways at Son Moix.
And in efforts towards as much, Simeone and his coaching staff are expected to have two players back available for selection.
As confirmed by Mundo Deportivo, after taking full part in training on Saturday, Julián Alvarez and Dávid Hancko are set to be given the green light to face Mallorca.
Missing out once more, on the other hand, will be a quartet of Atléti stars, namely Álex Baena, José María Giménez, Thiago Almada and Johnny Cardoso.
