14 Barcelona stars report for training on day off

No fewer than 14 members of the first-team ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona reported to the club’s training ground on Tuesday.

This comes despite the Blaugrana having been afforded the day off by manager Hansi Flick.

Barcelona were put through their paces in a recovery session on Monday, fresh off being put to the sword by arch rivals Real Madrid in El Clásico.

Increasingly weighed down by the heavy workload on the pitch at present, however, the Catalan club’s squad were given the day off to relax on Tuesday.

But this did not stop a whole host of high-profile stars from showing their respective faces at the Ciutat Esportiva.

As confirmed by Mundo Deportivo, all of the following were in attendance, for either training, or to continue treatment for injuries:

Robert Lewandowski, Joan García, Pedri, Fermín López, Roony Bardghji, Raphinha, Andreas Christensen, Gavi, Wojciech Szczęsny, Marc-André ter Stegen, Jules Koundé, Eric García, Ferran Torres, and Dani Olmo.
